How did John Brodak do this year? He's usually a front runner!

How did John Brodak do this year? He's usually a front runner!
I talked to John in the hallway at the motel, and he said he got a very good static score (96.5 as I recall) but couldn't fly due to vertigo/dizziness. Very unfortunate.
The RC scale people made fools of themselves again by repeatedly overflying the L=pad despite being warned repeatedly, and finally, one crashed on the road about halfway from the L-pad to the farmhouse, about 10 feet in front of a truck that was driving by.

Grant Hiestand won Authentic Scale with his Spacewalker with a static score 93, Allen's C-182 had a static score of 84.25. Allen took 2nd place in Authentic Scale.

Phil; He was not feeling good Sunday morning so he went home. He was concerned about his heart. I talked with John Tuesday after a trip to his doctors at home. He was in much better spirits after getting a clean bill of health, (heart o k).
Fred; I think Charlie meant doing well at the "Nats". not necessarily 1st place, but thanks for pointing that out.
Charlie; I'll use your graphic services again, thanks for your help on the last two projects.
Next C/L scale meet will be in Dayton, Ohio, all you scale fliers should try this one, they have a great place to fly model airplanes. See ya there.
After 10 days of model competition and paper work I'm tired. Airplanes cleaned and put up, model room cleaned and back in order. Wife, kids and grandkids in Canada for 10 days so its just me and the dog. Going to take a couple of days and lay by the pool and do NOTHING, I'm talking about becoming a vegetable. Z@@ZZZ
Blessings

It was a pleasure judging again at this years C/L Scale Nats. The time and effort that goes into these beautiful ships is truly a labor of love.Simply amazing H^^ H^^ H^^Seeing these ships operate in a scale manner is as impressive as the craftsmanship it takes to build them.Ed Mason's Lockheed "Connie" was impressive to say the least but watching Fred's B-29 spool up one engine at a time really left me with a judges smile.Hopefully someone can post some more pics of all the ships. H^^ H^^ H^^ H^^ to all the builder/pilots............THANX for letting me enjoy your craftsmanship!!!!

Been nice if some one had gotten a picture of Fred's B-29 starting and flying.

Well Fred, you certainly got my attention, and I must say, Ooooooooooh My Gosh!
What an accomplishment! H^^ H^^
Double hat's off for that!
So Fred, what's in your future?
Could it be this?

Hi Allen, Many thanks for all the information regarding my friend John Brodak. I had called them on his cell not knowing he was en route to the Nat's.! Buzz sounded quite good and told me that John had flown his plane but not enough to his liking. When his name didn't come up in any reports I was very concerned having been told by him of his heart concerns. It's good to know that he's in fine spirit and that he's received a good report from the doctors.
Thanks again for answering my inquiry!

Thanks Fred, that does give one an advantage over IC.
Thanks also to Allen for letting us know John is doing okay.
