NATS News
« on: July 17, 2010, 11:59:05 AM »
For those that do not or don't go to the AMA site to check on NATS results is missing some great photos.  The only event missing stories and pictures is the speed events.  Guess they couldn't find any one to take the time for pictures and story.  Alan Brickhaus must be a fire ball of energy with all the pictures and stories he has there.  Not being able or willing to attends the NATS for the second straight year, the NATS News has kept me informed.  As I don't know how to do it on the AMA site I wish to use this site/forum to thank each and every person that made NATS News what it is.  In case the people that worry about such stuff you will also find that there is more control line coverage than RC.  And this is starting with the Scale Competition from last week.  Now I hope every one makes it home safe and sound.   H^^

Try logging in here.  With some digging, you can ferret out the whole story.  Although there are no speed pitchers, there are names & scores.

I've been watching the daily "Nats News" section through the AMA site all week and there has some really good quality photos from many categories, most of them with captions. Allen has been doing a great job from what I've seen. I get the feeling it's mostly all him though without a lot of help from the AMA. I don't know, but I've been enjoying what I've seen. I'm still really anxious to see what others post here, can't ever get enough! y1

I know two Kiwis won the jet events -

Fast Jet - Rob Bolton  - 196mph

Sport Jet - Andrew Robinson - 152mph

GO THE KIWIS

Well, they can't print what they don't have. It takes contributions.  D>K
Yes..True, Allen can't post what he doesn't have----- buttttt!!!!
True...and I too really appreciate Allen's time and wonderful talent for doing his usual best...however using such a sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow outdated or over protected Adobe format (that AMA SEEMS TO SO DEARLY LOVE TO KEEP IN THEIR UNDERPANTIES...that assures that NO MORTAL may right click the photos, to build their own personal gallery of decent  CLPA photos?   Really disappointing that no photos of the winning CLPA flyers and their models seemed of so little importance?
