Colored Tissue sun Fading
« on: February 05, 2009, 05:31:39 PM »
I'd like to do a finish in colored tissue and clear dope, but the craft store tissue fades from the sun faster than my 401K is fading right now.

Is there anything I can do?   Any colors that are better than other ones?  Any thing I can block the U-V with?

two things, using die in your clear dope instead of dying the tissue will help, I use House of color candy concentrate dyes. that other thing is to use Urethane automotive clear which has significant UV blockers in it
