In a recent I Beam construction thread a post was made about the Umland Cobra. In this thread Clay S. mentioned that he had purchased a Cobra short kit from Brodak's. I have talked with Brodak and heard from John. They are willing to put together a Cobra "Short" Kit for sale. At this time, I do not have a price and can not get one until I speak with Jan in Brodak manufacturing this coming Monday.

I am posting this thread so those of you that might be interested can follow to find out what the cost of the short kit will be. Once you have the information you can contact Brodak to make your purchase. An earlier Cobra short kit was purchased for $89.95 + shipping and took about 3 weeks to receive. I believe this was back in April 06, so it could cost a bit more. I will keep you posted as quickly as I can.
I will only post info about the Cobra Short Kit on this forum. So, tell your friends if they want to know about it they will need to read it here.

We do laser cut the kit for people who want them. Since I already have the Ares kit which is almost the same as the Cobra kit I’m working on the other kits that I bought from Walter first.

*** Update 1. I talked with Jan at Brodak manufacturing today (28 Aug). She will discuss the kit with John and when it can be rolled into their production schedule. I will talk with her agin this Wednesday for more information.
