Cobra Short Kit is Available.

The Brodak Cobra Short Kits are now available for purchase.   Brodak is waiting for the canopies to arrive, otherwise the kits are completed.  The kit will come with all the cut parts, full plan set, the canopy, "NO Hardware."  Also included is the Ares construction book (since the Ares and Cobra are similar) and an article about the Cobra that was included with the Umland kit.

The cost will be $89.95 + shipping.  You can order and pay now then Brodak will ship as soon as the canopies arrive.  To order call (724) 966-2726, simply tell them that you want to order the Cobra Short Kit…they will advise you about the canopy and take your prepayment if that is what you decide to do .  There were only 15 kits made, so you may want to order ASAP.  I have already called and ordered mine, so there are only 14 left.  The availability of this kit has only been posted on this Forum, if you know anyone else that may be interested then pass it on.  If John can sell all these kits then he likely would be ready to do a similar builds in the future.

I would like to thank John Brodak for assembling this short kit and give Jan in Brodak Manufacturing  a very special thanks for working the details with me.  Thanks John and Jan for doing this and being there for the CL community!!

I was told the short kits weren't ready to ship because of the canopys were not done, just yesterday. Did it come frome Brodak? I changed my order to another Vector, I'll get a Cobra when it goes into production!

Hi Richard,

I don't believe that JOhn has any intention of producing a full kit of the Cobra any time soon.  He remarked as to how it is similar to the Ares which he has out now.

A "short kit" might well be all that is offered.  I could be wrong, though.
