A machinist in Italy built a quarter-scale fully operating model of some rear-engined Ferrari. The flat-12 engine runs, the gearbox works, the brakes work. It was and is a stunning piece of work. I'm sure the gearheads on this forum have seen references to it. If a quarter-scale human could be found, the car could be driven. This is even one step up from the guys who machine things like quarter-scale Rolls-Royce Merlins. The ability displayed in these projects takes your breath away. The car may have been smaller than quarter-scale, now that I think about it.
