The First thing I did as the owner of Black Hawk Models, was to give our employees the day off with pay. Then I asked for volunteers to give away model kits at the local park - everyone was in with the idea. Today (Thanksgiving) we each took a sack of model kits for young kids; that we had manufactured in out off time. We handed them out at the local park and saw the excitement from the kids and their parents getting a free model kit. Upon returning, we all agreed that this was great and are looking at doing it again next year.
Next, we will be donating 50 models to Toys for Tots and start making up a special lot of kits for the local Police Dept. to give to families that have been traumatized by crime in the city over the last year.
BEST TIME OF THE YEAR FOR ALL!!!!
