Looking for recommendations on how to clean the fuel gunk off my RoJett. BSE .40 engine.

Same way you clean any other engine. Do a search. there's hundreds of posts on how to clean engines

Straight antifreeze in a crockpot.

For what it's worth....I think a barstock RoJett might suffer in appearance using a crockpot. The paperwork that comes with a new RoJett has details to keep it looking bright and shiny. (Maybe Mother's brand aluminum polish?) dg
EDIT...I found the Bar Stock finish maintenance that comes with the motor. The big caveat is "Don't use Water". Mother's aluminum and chrome polish from auto parts stores is used with a slow turning dremel tool with a buffing tip. Caution against allowing the polish to get inside the engine.

I hope that question is because you are coming to our contest in October #^ #^ #^

What Dale said....never use water or antifreeze in a crock pot on a BSE engine.

simple green and a brass brush work great. and brass is softer than the aluminum, so unless you go nuts, you won't scuff the surface. follow up with your favorite metal polish (i like blue magic) to make it sparkle.
