I have never seen an article on a Super Ares, which I finished painting last month and have another underway.. Which is it? Classic,  N30 or I doubt it, Modern?  Was it ever published and if so which magazine and month and year? D>K

The first time I saw Bill Werwage was at the 68 Olathe Nats when he was flying his Super Ares.  I do not think there was ever a magazine construction article for that airplane.

Ty I remember reading about the Super Ares from the early 60s.  I seem to think Lew McFarland inspired it by winning with the Shark 45 in 60-61.  If it's the same airplane then I'm sure it's pure Classic.

Ty, it's a Classic as Randy said. Jim Lynch flew his at our contest last year in Baton Rouge. It flew really well and was beautifully finished too!
