Hey Everyone!

We had a great time in Clanton, AL this past weekend!  This was the most organized and thought-out first time event I have ever been to.  Our Host Darrell & his crew were just great to us all!  The weather was a bit chilly in the early morning & late at night and a little windy during the day but overall it was sunny & beautiful!

I am posting some pictures of the score sheets and will post some other pictures as well.

Thanks to everyone for making this a fun weekend and I look forward to seeing everyone at the next meet which I think is KOI in January.

Last set of pictures for now.  The first picture is of the sign for Flying site and then the next picture is of our gracious host Darrell Mims. 

The next pictures are followed by First Place Winner in Beginner: Dave Shad, Bob Dixon's Nobler coming in for landing, Basic Winners, Heaven Shining Down on Louis Rankin (who is joined by Dave Shad, Bob Dixon & Tom Dixon), and the last picture was one I took in Interstate 80 West of a Huge Fire that could be seen for miles!

May post more pictures later when I get time to do some editing.

I sure was wanting to attend your contest.  As it turns out, I had my nose surgically repaired on Friday.  Everything was still spinning around this past weekend too.

I can't think of a nicer person to have heaven shine down on the Louis Rankin.  Is that lavender Lou

    Thanks to all that attended ,and thanks to Allen Brickhouse for his advice and his knowledge of C/L models /modelers . Dale Berry was a BIG help getting us started in the right direction . Sunday was a breeze , Thanks to all the judges and runners and tabulators and to my Co-CD Lewis Popwell ,Jim Oliver gentileman and scholar . To all the Club helpers ,they made this a great Meet .
