Title: C/L World - missing issues.
Post by: Bob Zambelli on January 17, 2008, 12:46:56 PM
Just got off the phone with John and he informed me about a situation with the magazine.

It seems like quite a few people have called complaining that they had not received the last issue.

Why? Most who had called had not sent in their renewal payment.

You can renew by contacting Brodak directly.

I sent in my as soon as I could and also sent money for a subscription for my son.  He said he received several issues and I told him to make sure they are for 2008.  Greatest general control line magazine going.  DOC Holliday

I got the initial free issue, all four for 2007, I renewed in a timely manner, and got the first 2008 issue in late December 2007.

Perfect, actually, a little ahead of schedule.

I sent my check late in the year.  There was some doubt that I would be alive to enjoy it earlier.  The operations and treatments I underwent damn near killed me but I managed to make it to 2008.  I hope I don't miss the January issue.

By the way the fellow that said what dosn't kill you makes you stronger was full of sh*t  (PE**)

I just got off the phone with Brodak Printing.

If you have paid for and not recieved your magazine, you can call Sandy (724 966 7335) or e-mail her (sandy@brodak.com or flyin@brodak.com) or write a note.

If there is a problem, they will make it right.

Got mine yesterday, and have my granddaughters visiting for the week-end. The 6 year old and I built the little "sling around" tonight and will fly it tomorrow. I'll take pics & post them.

Great idea for getting us old guys to get the little ones involved. I can remember having a Ryan STA that my dad fixed for me to sling around in the back yard. I flew it 1,000,000 miles!

I may have the luck of the Irish, but when I sent in my subscription way late in 2007 the first package I received was a  copy of each of the first three 2007 issues.  I sent in my 2008 subscription in November 2007 after receiving the October 2007 issue.
