We now have a CL circle at the Prattville, AL Fountain City Flyers RC site.
It is a bit rough yet but usable--we are working to get it smooth and green:)
Come join the fun, AMA membership required.

It's about a 2-1/2 hr drive from Huntsville, Al. Could be we might arrange for a Huntsville AL - Prattville Al fly-in this summer. What day of the week do you guys usually fly?

What few of us CL flyers there are fly when the notion strikes and wind is tolerable. The RC guys usually fly on weekends but there is some activity during the week also.
Most of the CL guys fly RC too, so there are no problems between groups.
It would be good if we could get you, Ty, Ronnie and the other North AL guys to come visit.
We plan to get some grass seed out this next Tuesday and to get a little flying in too, gonna start on the grass about 10:00---come if you can:)

Our next meeting is the first Monday in May. I will talk to the club and see what we can come up with.

This weekend is Senior Pattern Contest at FCF, while there today I talked to our club President Bert Sparrow; he asked if the CL guys had thought about having CL contest at our site:)
We talked about adding a second circle and a sun shade similar to what we have for the RC flight line; will have to present to the club at this month's meeting but with the Prez. supporting us it should be possible.
We will see how it goes.........

The site is still active for RC but we haven't flown CL there in several years.
