Title: Christmas Gift Kit
Post by: Gene O'Keefe on December 03, 2009, 02:35:07 PM
If you could get any but just "one" model airplane kit for Christmas (cost excluded), what would it be ?

  Merry Christmas

That's a neat question.   I think after hearing all the BUZZ about it lately my interest would run toward the T-Rex ARC.  I like big planes anyway as they are usually slower !!

Well, I wasn't going to respond to this thread, but here goes.  There are so many out there I can't decide which one.  I do have the "La Donna" on its way.  Also the "Stuntwagon".  If was well enough off I would settle for one of each of the rest.  MERRY CHRISTMAS too all.

The F-86 would be cool...but I've about given up on it, during my lifetime.  >:( Steve

If cost were not a factor, T-Rex in a heartbeat.  But then is an ARF really a kit...?

When ready for primer, contact Randy Powell who will finish this airplane for you

Combat Kittens!  Yep, haven't seen a box of these in a long time.  Great deal back in the day.  The box contained not one, but two kittens for about the same price as most other single plane kits!  Since I loved speed, and crashed alot this was a good deal for a twelve year old kid!

Send the plan to Eddie at Lazer Kits. He is a wizard at the art, and very affordable!

I don't think that Randy will mind if I put the coupon in my kits. He has the time, and should have no problem doing the work for free!

There is another great looking F-86 by Don Hutchinson. But I am sure that Flora won't let Don do any free finishing. He is very busy drawing great profile warbirds.

Mike, Beleive it or not, Brodak is to kit it, eventually. It has been in their online catalog for at least a year with "coming soon" captioned on it! We shall see...

Actually Pat has a laser, and can cut the parts from any of his plans for you, no need to send it off.
He cut the parts for my Avenger off my plans, always has GOOD LIGHT wood, and picks the right stuff for the right parts,,
