I like the fuselage mounted here better than the wing version. It gives it a more up-to-date appearance.

THAT's it! It is definitely a Chip but something seemed a little different... Way to go Stephen. How aboout some statisitics: pwer, finish weight, etc??? and don't forget the flight report on 6/7...

Thanks for all the kind words. First flights were ok. Needs some tip weight
and trying to dial in the new engine.
It is a Sig kit with an OS 40 engine. The winds today were gusting to 20mph so I took it easy. Some trimming to come.

Same here, attached is my grandfather's chipmunk that crashed because the motor crapped on the outside loop of the horizontal 8 and went in 10ft away from me. By the Stephen, that is a good looking plane
