No problem staying logged-on here.  To date, this site works just fine.

    To expand somewhat...

The specific settings that are incorrect are probably the security settings for the acceptance of cookies, which might help track it down. I had a few people with the same problem on the PAMPA website - they would log on (successfully, as it turned out), then the page would update to show the logged-on version, but it would just pop back to the login module. The reason was that the security settings for Internet Explorer were set to strict. The website sets a cookie that tells you that you have logged in, but if the settings are set to not save cookies it "forgets" immediately, and you just get in a loop. If you log in successfully, navigate OK, then can't get back in the next day, what it likely happening is that the cookies are getting deleted either when the browser is closed or when you navigate away from the website.  Next time, it has forgotten you had logged in, and you have to do it again.

Internet explorer has some pretty goofy ways to set the cookie handling. As I recall it is in the security preferences and it has a scale of "none" to "Strict". For the case of the PAMPA website, only "strict" caused to to fail. But it might be different here. I wouldn't use any version of Internet Explorer, ever, even if it was available for my computer, so I can't tell you how to fix it.

I just make sure that the "log in forever" box is checked when I log in and it works fine, ready to go 24-7. y1

I too have used the "log-in forever Box".  Has been working all season for me. Even with my screwy computer.

Happy Holidays.

Dave.

I log out every time when I leave. Logging in is one mouse click (BFD!) when I return since I have my browser (FireFox) set to remember user names and passwords for the various sites I visit regularly..

I would just as soon not show up in the list's "currently logged in" when I am not viewing the board.
