A great way to make my exercise time more enjoyable is to watch Windy videos while I am doing my stretches or sit-ups and stuff. Currently I am watching Windy build his B-25. His ever-present building companion is Chicky, his pet Oriole. I'm currently on Windy U Master 436 B-25 on YouTube and at about 1:54:00 of the video Chicky gets into trouble. The scene is both funny and endearing at the same time.

This is a hobby with a lot of older participants and we each need to be coldly objective and realize that the better we take care of our bodies, the longer we can play. Repetitive exercise can be boring, but watching Windy's videos makes the time go by very enjoyably. Plus you are learning new building techniques and other things or reinforcing what you already know. It's a fantastic two-fer!

100% right on that observation! Just think how much better this country would be if people were spending that wasted "viewing time" engaged in a hobby like ours?

I agree with that 100% I walk as many days possible, 2 miles in the afternoon. It is getting to be the tough time of the year as yesterday it was 96 degrees while walking. I, also, have a Total Gym and use that to strengthen my arms, back and legs several times a week.
If I don't walk and use resistance training I, literally, have trouble getting out of bed and doing household chores and lawn work.
I listen to music.
Great contribution.

What I do for "work" has me sitting for a few hours every day and I have been increasing my weight since closing our shop. I saw some stuff online about people who work from home using a walking pad treadmill to keep their fitness up. So, I gave it a go. I put together a standing desk and got the walking pad. These days I walk from 1 to 3 hours and have removed 25 excess poundages.

LOL! My son and his wife have a treadmill, and they bought a doggie treadmill for their doggo to use! Apparently, he likes it. Like most doggos, he's very food motivated, but his ideal weight is 15 >16 lbs. Probably 16 when he gets home from spending the day at Grampa's house. LL~ Steve
