It was bound to happen later than sooner, but it's happened.

So much for Goldfinger's diabolical plan now.

If anybody actually had a data on this bogus theory, the data would indicate that the crisis has subsided with most of the airlines grounded.
As a sidebar, global warmers and clean air freaks should be having victory parties (if parties were permitted) with the bulk of the world's industry shut down. Does their "data" reflect a major "improvement"?

Play with this real time tool and try to convince yourself there is no current air traffic

All the more reason to get alcohol out of our gasoline and other fuels. except for model airplane fuel , of course!. But the article is thought provoking. There was actually some sort of aerial spraying of the St. Louis area at the end of WW-2, but the details of that escape me right now. It was some sort of experiment and there was repercussion from it years later. It was done at lower altitudes though, if I remember correctly. The only argument against the article I can think of is the cities she pointed out as the hot spots. while that may be true, why do we have so much lower outbreak numbers here in St. Louis? A large city. with a couple of large, active airports, surrounded by large areas of farm land, lots of industrial activity, and miles and miles of almost constantly busy highways? And Monsanto is/was based here until sold to Bayer of Germany.
Type at you later,

The following excerpt as taken from the lawsuit concerns me a little. I'm no scientist but I always thought the "Contrails" we see are actually for the most part water vapor a byproduct of combustion of the jet fuel. On some days the trails seem to dissipate more quickly than others. This I suspect is because the dew point at altitude will vary. The lower the moisture content of the air (the dryer the air above) the more quickly the condensed moisture from combustion will be absorbed into the dryer atmosphere, thus resulting in the contrail disappearing at different rates from hour to hour. There is no doubt carbon monoxide among other toxins in the form of gas included with the moisture but for the argument to state "white particles or "Aerial Discharge" is disconcerting.
On various dates, the Plaintiff observed that certain aircraft discharged trails comprising of white particulate like matter (“Aerial Discharge”), and which Aerial Discharge would persist and often span across the horizon and across the length of the sky.
The Aerial Discharges slowly dissipated, formed a thin, hazy film across the sky, and would obfuscate the sun’s rays.
The Aerial Discharges dissipate across ranges of altitudes, including lower altitudes. Thus, the Aerial Discharges dissipate in the lower altitudes which include the air that the Plaintiff, his family and the potential members of the Class breath.
The Plaintiff pleads that the Aerial Discharges are comprised of minute particles that are toxic and/or are easily absorbed into the body and the environment, and are thus dangerous when absorbed into the body or the environment.

Nut case! This is the sort of person who buys a house / propery next to a local dragstrip / race track then sues the owners for noise pollution / loss of amenity! Or complains about church bells ringing on a Sunday!

Gotta love a good conspiracy theory. What next, Flat Earth Society?

Why didn't they think of this during WW II? Watch the films of the bombers heading out for their mission and return. All those contrails could have ended the war sooner. Another reporter trying to make a name for themselves by blowing things out of proportion. S?P
