I thought it was for a FPV model for a second.

This one is cool.

My son wants to do this with a CL plane. I don’t think it could ever happen on a CL plane. 🤪

That is the most amazing thing I have ever seen in a model!  That vid led to a couple others, including one (maybe more?) that showed a RC midair from either pilot's perspective.

Very similar things are made for on-line racing simulations. These are actually a big business, there are professional on-line racing leagues with real money involved.

Ken, I assume youe ship is not a double-wide, but if you could just capture the essence of a Shuttle cockpit ...

How in the world could you ever figure out what all those switches are for?

Ken, to start with, you have to be ambidexterous ...  Really, there was a TV show commemmorating the 70th (?) anniversary of the end of WWII.  One of the people interviewed was a B-17 flight engineer.  He was asked if he remembered the pre-flight switch setup of the engine and electric panels.  After being assisted into a B-17, he went thru the checklist with no errors.  When asked how he did it, his reply was basically that he had repeated it so often that out of necessity he HAD to know it.  Same thing with astronauts -- there is no room for 'OOPS!'.

They are all labelled!  Figure this - if it has a physical switch, it's relatively simple. The software is what is really complicated.

Wow!  What a "flashback" this picture gave me!  Having had the privilege of working for United Space Alliance, I cannot tell you how humbling it is to have been able to climb into the pilots seat of shuttle, Endeavour.  Believe me, it was something relatively few were permitted to do!  Nope, I was not allowed to push any buttons either ;D LL~
