Check the balance?
« on: February 10, 2018, 05:59:52 PM »
So the instructions on the Vector 40 says to hold the airplane 3 1/4in back from the leading edge.  Basically the same kind of institutions on my Score. So my question is where do you start measuring back when the leading edge tapers? Measure back from were the wing meets the fuse?

Unless they say different, yes.  Do they show the CG on the plans?

Keep in mind that you're just finding a starting point -- you'll want to trim the fore-aft CG along with everything else once the plane is in the air.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.
