I go there quite frequently.  I usually can find someone there if I stay for a few minutes.

I have used it. It's hit and miss. Have had some great chats about modeling in there. More folks should use it. H^^

OK here is the deal. Just like 40 appearance points or pattern points I can make the chat room go away. However I will be in no hurry to do the script again to put it back. So instead of upsetting the flow of things I think I will leave it alone. Its there to use or not. Its not hurting anything.

Not quite sure why you responded like this Sparky? All I asked was a simple question. Didn't say anything negative or imply that you should consider removing it. I was only trying to spark a little more interest in using it. Lighten up.

I go there sometimes.  Marvin and I have had a couple of conversations before.

Here is what G-Man and I use to do.

Put up a post when you want to go and chat. This way people will know you are in there. After you are done in the chat room, delete the post.
Tell people not to reply to the post... just join the chat room.

We got something like 9 or 10 folks in there at one time. Lots of fun.

I vote keep it. y1

Its not up for a vote...

Another use for the chat room could be for the folks, who like to throw stones and personal attacks on other peoples threads-They would have a place for their discussions REAL TIME, and save the moderators from alot of headaches from cleaning up threads that have been bloodied up with negative BS. From there they can exchange phone numbers or adresses and duke it out, face to face, whatever, off of this site. Or, we can continue to police the site from BS, kinda' like a kindergarten teacher does...
Note: I am not condoning the above behavior as acceptable, only as an alternative to keeping the peace of the written word(s) contained in these forums.

Just a thought.  H^^

I visit the chat room often. As it often happens no one is there but usually if I wait a while or come back somebody will come in. There have been some good conversations there.

The chat room requires Shockwave/Flash player. Not available for my platform. Oh well.

Last night we had nine guys in the chat room.  The most guys I've talked to before this was only one at a time and I do have to say, it was fun.  It was like a party

The new program the wife and the daughter's friend have installed is for the pits.  Have tried the chat room and it won't let me go there.  So I try to behave myself on the main forum.  Besides there is always the land line or the cell.  DOC Holliday
