Title: Charlie Reeves in need of spinners for Saucer/Pancake model
Post by: Allen Brickhaus on September 24, 2012, 08:25:07 PM
Allen, here are the pictures of the spinners that I need for the Pancake.  They are 1.5" diameter and are plastic.  I really need two of them.  The front part of the spinner is held to the rear part by two screws that key into the rear part and twist to lock into place.  Maybe there will be a couple of them out there somewhere.  Black would be good, but I'll paint them to match the plane.

Contact Bob Whitney, Palm Bay, FL --- f2cracer(at)aol(dot)com.  Spinners are likely to be metal rather than plastic, but Bob is pretty good at this stuff.

FWIW, those were made by Williams Brothers in the 1970's.

I have one orange one.  I'll be going to a swap meet Sunday and see if I can find more.  These used to be popular in our area.
