Ah, Floyd, I'm thinking that you're just not into the overall vibe of which the Ringmaster is part.  I just want to see the two or three planes that he started with.

Wild thought:

I wonder if Matt Kania had started the Ringmaster out with all-eliptical surfaces, only to have his boss say something like "that's going to be too hard for a kid to build -- make the wing with all straight lines, and get the thing done by Tuesday, for crying out loud!"

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

I know you have already decided on an airplane, but for your next one it would be hard to beat a Medic.  I had mine out this morning and it is a joy to fly.  Smooth and responsive at the same time and flies great at 4100 feet altitude, even better at sea level. Power is an LA25 totally stock with a Hays 3 ounce clunk tank. There is one disadvantage I've found - it does not do well in gusty wind.  Have fun.

I'm looking at the Shark 402 profile for my new LA25. Are there any other suggestions I may be missing out on?
Thankee for any info.
Shug

Hi Shug,
Lots of good advice on models.  I would suggest the Primary Force (go figure LOL) and it flies really good in the wind with a LA 25 and a 9 X 4 ot 10 x 4 Prop.  If you scratch build its easy to keep it under 38 ounces.

Later,
