First case: there's the same amount of nitro before and after.  100*.2 = (100 + x)*.15
20 = 15 + .15*x
5 = .15*x
5/.15 = x
33.3 = x

Second case: Add the quantities of nitro.  .1*100 + .2*x = .15*(100 + x)
10 + .2*x = 15 + .15*x
.2*x = 5 + .15*x
.05*x = 5
x = 5/.05
x =100

MM,
Here is your very own copy:
http://web2.murraystate.edu/andy.batts/ps/fuel.htm

Grab the Excel spreadsheet. It is built for quarts if I remember right. I saved it and edited it for 8 ounce batches.

Enjoy!

Try this site it's where I go to figure when I want to add oil or nitro or mix complete batches.

MM,
Did you get a chance to try the spreadsheet? It is straight up for what you intend to do...mix two fuels and see results.

MM,
Shoot a pm with email/phone number. I'll talk you through it. Since you do the smalls (I've seen you on CEF), I'll pass the altered smaller (8 oz) calculator to you. Five minutes will be all it takes.

I'm really busy at work, so it may be this weekend. Saturday mid-day ok? I'm in Central time.

Attached is an spreadsheet I use for changing store bought fuel with high nitro% and low oil% content. So by adding castor oil you can change the nitro content.

Enjoy,
