Beginners at the NATS
« on: September 21, 2009, 10:00:21 AM »
Yes I am very slow about acknowledging this.  I did not attend the NATS because of hip & knee problems.  Would have been a hindrance to MBS Model Supply.  But, Alan Brickhaus runs beginner events at the NATS.  He also asks for donations each year.  So last year while trying to arrange the shop I had a couple of kits I knew would never get built by me.  So they were sent to Alan.

Anyway I got thank you notes from the gentlemen that got them.  One is a member here:  Allen Burnham.  He has been sent a private message.  The other is: Michael F. Stinson.  Guess he is not a member as I couldn't find him in the member list.  Will be sending him a note soon.  This is a great thing Alan B. does each year and as soon as I can figure out what I will be sending him something for next year.

Good luck with the kits fellows.  I hope this doesn't sound like I am bragging.  DOC Holliday

Doc
It is not bragging, just attempting to stimulate some of us other fliers to help out with donations.

I will see what I can contribute,

And I will chime in and say that I have also received some very nice thank you notes from various Beginner flyers for the stuff I've donated.
That really helps when Allen asks for stuff for the beginners!!!
