Here is the latest poop on the Central Florida FunFLy-In in Lake Wales, FL on November 25th.
See: http://stunthanger.com/smf/index.php?topic=2146.0 for original post and map.
We are still scheduled to meet as planned on the first Saturday following Thanksgiving day. We will fly two grass circles. We will open the field for flying at 8AM. If there are any RVers wishing to use the site overnight(no hookups available) on Friday night, phone me at the number below and I will make sure the field is unlocked Friday evening.
Currently I have a list of about fifteen interested flyers, some bringing friends, and maybe spouses. Since we are kinda out in the boonies, the club chef has offered to serve Burgers or Bratwurst, chips and a drink for $5 per person. If there is enough interest, we will need to know now much stuff to buy . SO...If you plan to attend, PLEASE contact me via my email, pjcoopys@aol.com , or phone me at (863)638-0994, to let me know how many persons will be in your party.
It is important to know how many are planning to attend so PLEASE email me or leave a message on my phone.

Wear T shirts %^ This is November. It is cold outside! It must be nice to live in Florida. I lived in Yuma, AZ for three years and it got cold in the winter there too. We used to fly on the weekends in our coats. We fly here in Michigan in the winter if the snow has melted off of the field or in a Parking lot that has been plowed. **) **) **)

Hopefully I will need my Stunt Hangar hat to help keep a nice bright sun out of my eyes. Just checked the weather on the 10 o-clock news, cold tonight / tomorrow, then a warming trend. They are saying it may warm up all the way to the mid-upper 70s by Saturday!
For you guys up in the tundra - cold on our 10 o-clock news means that the weather guy is standing outside trying to get the camera to catch a hint of his "Frosty breath" while they give dire warnings of temperatures plummetting into the 40s, and wind chill warnings- it will fell like the 30s!~
Then I think about trying to get my truck started at -40 back in North Dakota, laugh a bit and go get ready to go flying on Sat. I love Florida!!

The head count for Saturday so far is up to twenty-seven and the weather looks gorgeous.

The weather report keeps looking better and better! It should be in the mid 70s, and mostly sunny.
Yesterday I bought a new gallon of Powermaster GMA 10/29, put new wheels on the Akromaster, and charged the starter battery.
If I can get away with it today I will run a tank through each plane, and do a pre-flight.

It was in the high 60's here in the Mo-Kan area. Just enough breeze to blow turbulance away. DOC Holliday
PS:I like the seasons as it gives me time to build.
