Title: CENTRAL FLORIDA C/L FLY-IN AT LAKE WALES,FL THIS YEAR?
Post by: Phil Coopy on September 23, 2008, 06:41:23 PM: I've had several email inquiries asking if we are holding a CENTRAL FLORIDA C/L FLY-IN this year in Lake Wales, FL on Thanksgiving weekend. I have not asked the club for it's OK yet.

First I would like to hear from you all who are planning to attend so that we don't over buy food as we did the last time, and get burned. Attendance was not very good at the April spring event. I know it's a long drive for some of you, and with the price of gas being high as it is, in addition to our $10/flyer landing fee, it may limit attendance to a point where it isn't worth the effort. However attendance at the Thanksgiving weekend event has usually been very good.

The date this year would be November 29th.

So send me an email or chime in here to let me know how many of you would be interesting doing it again this year.

I will mark the calender and let the other CL fliers in our club know. The only problem I may run into is the wife likes to plan short get aways on that long weekend. I really enjoyed the last one I attended and hope to make this one.
