Title: Central Aalbama Stunt Squadron contest

OK Guys,

The site is ready and waiting---four nice grass circles, temp in mid 70's, reasonable wind conditions, good food, good company. What more could you want??  Dancing girls, maybe---not this time!!

Leaving for the site shortly---hope to see some of you.

Guys and Gals!

The contest was fabulous.  We needed more numbers, but the site, the hosting team, consessions and the prizes were just fantastic.  Each 1st place winner received a plaque in the shape of Alabama and a full kit.  The 2nd and 3rd place winners got a gallon of Sig fuel.  Best run contest I've ever seen for a 1st annual.  When they have it again I'll certainly be back.  Many thanks to Darrell Mimbs and the crew for a job well done.  Pictures to follow from Dee in a new post by tomorrow.

Thanks Bob for that intro. If Dee has the pics of the final count from the boards ,please fwd them on to me and we'll  post them in the event section .  Thanks to all that attended whether they flew or just spectat ed . We are thrilled to add this contest to the schedule and keep C/L going . Congratulation to you and Dee ,great flying ,great fun and for those who missed it , well they'll just have to come and see what it's all about.

I have started a new topic titled "Clanton, AL Pictures".  I have posted all of the score sheets along with a few other pictures as well.

Thank you again Darrell for making this a great weekend and we look forward to coming again next year! (I will also email you the pictures I posted so you can post them elsewhere as you see fit).
