Quick Lunch hour flight... Akrobat report

It went round and round! #^

I checked the weather and it looks like scattered T-Storms headed our way for the next few days. As for today it was just a little over cast, nothing will move into the area until later tonight / tomorrow. I wanted to see if the Akrobat would fly, so I took my lunch hour and got my youngest teenage son out of bed to stooge for me. (I did not want to fly alone being a first flight.) I am glad I did because after starting it, I tacked it and ran out to the handle. My son yelled and pointed at the glow starter still on the plane. Opps! I ran back and got it. I had the jitters with this flight. One more reason to have a extra set of eyes.
It seem to fly OK and the only thing it did was want to roll in on me during take off. While it was rolling on the ground. After it got in the air it was fine and did nothing weird. I think I might have too much tip weight and may need to try a different prop. I just did some climbs and dives, and lazy wing overs. Just two flights.

Congratulations Paul.  Take it nice and easy and we'll get you a good trimmed airplane.  I know of others that have left their glow driver on.  I even know a guy that hooked his lines up backwards and lost his plane b1

I always check that "up" really is up -- which saved a plane yesterday, when I reached down, fumbled the handle, then picked it up upside down.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.
