My name is Brent Rogillio the cd for the contest. I first want to thank everyone for being part of our contest. My goal is for everyone to know all of you are very important. To me a pilot,  beginner or expert there are no difference who is more important. I want to let everybody know i love you for who you are. I want to make sure i going to give everybody a welcome with a hug,kiss,handshake or pat on the back. See it is not the hardware we bring home it is the love and memories we cherish. I thank God how He can use a model airplane to bring people together to develop a life time friendship. Thank you all for the hard work, prayers and support for great fly-in.

Was a great weekend. Even if I did sleep in today.  Had fun. Met and talked to people from stunthanger and other parts of the US sharing the same passion.

You and Doug ran a great contest. And the folks that volunteered were top notch. The food on site was great and I have never seen such a big raffle table of stuff.
The circles were in good shape and the concrete center pads are a nice to have.
Other then a little bit of a challenge in the weather I'm not sure how you can improve it.

What happened to the hurricane that was 'sposed to come through on Sat night and Sunday morning?

Rain didnt hit til round 4pm and then it was only a drizzle. Was breezy on and off through out the day tho. As for today. I didnt make it out there so Im not real sure. But saturday morning was nice!

Sunday morning was dead calm until 0950. Luckily everything was packed up by then.

I was awakened at 0430 by a thunder clap that shook the motel in Zachery. It was heavy rain when I left  at 0530 Sunday morning. Rained all the way to just west of Birmingham,  AL.
But the contest was great.  Lots of  fun, some frustration on my part due to trusting a much repaired profile P51B. Having great doubts about rubber banding fuel tanks.
The contest went smooth and  fast and the lunch really hit the spot. Met a famous combat guy I have only read about and another I have not seen since my last Brodaks over 10 years ago. Just wait until next year.

Ty, who was the "Combat Guy?" Sorry that I didn't make it...Truck in the shop and my neck and shoulder out of whack. Hope to see you in November.

I got to introduce myself (saw him fly in Houston) and have a great conversation with Mr. Stubblefield a few years back at a Baton Rouge meet, got to fly with him also. A great moment for me, having followed and flown combat for many...many years. I sure would of liked to of met Mr. Cleveland. Got to meet Mr. Wooten at a Catoosa meet. To the "outsiders / non-modelers"...Woopee Ding! To me? Awesome!
