Carbon Landing gear

After trying to find the gear exactly like I wanted them and only having to settle for something someone else made I have started to make my own. When I get the mold done I will post a pic. I am finishing it now.

Cool beans! Bruce Perry fabricated his mold from plywood. I heard that Howard had his mold CNC milled from a block of 'luminum. I'm looking forward to seeing your mold details. Maybe built-in brackets for wheel trousers?  D>K Steve

Jed Kusik brought this DIY CF LGear to a recent meeting.  I wish he hadn't cuz now I want to try it too.  They are light, and strong.  Nicer looking than plain aluminum too.

I think our own Randy Powell showed several years ago on how to make carbon gear.   He made it look simple to do.
