Can I get some help identifying some carbon fiber pipes? This is the first one. OD of the inlet is .720, outlet ID is .420, OD of the main body is 1.390. The carbon fiber looks like alligator skin.  I got these pipes from an estate and they were not labeled any help is appreciated

This is #2 .390 inlet OD, .390 ID on yellow rubber dingy outlet, 1.435 OD pipe body.
This pipe looks to be made from the same material as the first but has a reddish tint to the resin.

Hi Randy,

Is there a reason why the carbon laminate in your pipes is so rich with epoxy?
Long ago when I made pipes, I used to squeeze the laminate with tape. But I used a steel mandrel inside.

Hi Lauri They are not as rich as you think, I make these to what the pilots want, I also make double layer carbon pipes for  HOT R/C applications, and I make ultra light pipes that have a teflon mandrell inside with high temp heat shrink  tube outside that squeezes the resin  very very thin, These are lighter, and are as light as you can make a pipe, however they will not last as long, and are more prone to pin holes as the  age
So I have several types I can make, and  do, I also can make extra long or short chamber pipe, as well as different  baffle configurations
