Back in the sixties I built a 15 size U/C plane I believe was an Enterprise kit but not sure. The plane was a profile rendition of a Sabre jet. I can't seem to find any ties to it on the net. The Shark 15 reminds me of it. I did enjoy building and flying it. I remember what it looked like but can't seem to track it down. Anyone know what I am talking about? Richard

Hi Richard,
quite possibly a Jetco Sabre X-4 kit. It was designed for the AYSC competitions. Good flyer!

My guess is Sabre Sonic X-4 by Jetco, same maker as the Shark 15. The Sabre Sonic was designed for the AYSC events - one airplane, several events.

Thanks everyone for your reply! Yes, I think the Jetco Saber Jet X-4 is right on! Love the posted plan. Richard

Now that would look good on steroids.

Bill & I posted at virtually the same time - I guess at least 2 of us liked that one!

I had a buddy who flew one of those in our "back then" sort of speed limit combat and could hold his own with the Goldberg profiles the rest of us were flying.

Don't remember this one. I like it.

The photo is really poor; the pdf file I have is better than that. Anyone who wants the pdf file, send me an email ... The ribs aren't shown, but with a little imagination pretty much everything you need to build it is on the plans.

Hi Dennis! Yes I liked that one when we were "back then" but never had one. :( Since I got the plans (!) I am probably going to build one before long. Should do really well with a "modern" .15!
Take care, Buddy!
