Any ideas on removing canopy saw dust , with out refinishing, I was thinking a small hole and vacuum it out! :'(

It will take 2 small holes opposite each other. But it should work. Drill at canopy line and shake dust toward one of the holes.

Yup!
Two holes for sure. Reason is if you do not you will distroy the canopy (or something will break under the vacuum pressure).

Ask me how I know.

I tried it on a double pain window. 8x8 glass shattered!!! :o

If the dust is sticking to the canopy caused by a static charge, and wont come out by vacuuming, you might want to try a Zero Stat gun to help the dust free up. Remember the anti-static guns that were used for cleaning your old black albums? It should work here too.  those guns should still be around. Just a thought

good luck

A music store that still sells old albums should have them. I got mine at K-Mart years ago, but have seen them at music stores since then. Ask for a item that eliminates the static charge from vinyl records. maybe ebay too

good luck

here is a better link, http://www.dedicatedaudio.com/inc/sdetail/6193

Still a high price  :( , maybe there are better ways to clean the dust.

here is a pic,
you may be able to find it at a more reasonable price somewhere else. I saw a $68 price at Hard to find records.com
