A friend recently restored a 1960 built Berkley P-40 Warhawk and needs a canopy. I thought someone made this kit, any thoughts? I told him I'd do some looking around.

Park Flyer Plastics has a lot of canopies. The show one here for the P-40, but it might be too big for your Berkeley kit version.

Keith,
The Park Flyer P-40 might fit, it's with a try. I'm also trying to talk him into making one using Brodack sheet poly and forming with heat. It's a complicated style canopy with side skirts.
Thanks,

I may have one from Bill Sawyer. I'll try to take a photo and measure it tomorrow ... The Berkeley P-40 was the first full fuselage model I completed as a kid, wanted to some day build another but there are so many "neater" projects around now.

Dennis,
Great, let me know what you find.

Here's the Park Flyer P-40 canopy on this model. It was the best one I could find at the time.
There's better close up photos where the build is on this model.
Might be at CFC Graphics vendor's corner?
This model was a Super Ringmaster, I think 42" in span.
