The Canadian FAI F2B Team Trials were conducted this past weekend, Sept 29 -30 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Trials were held on the Winnipeg Radio Control Club field. The WRRC were gracious hosts and made every effort possible to assist in making the contest a success.
Friday was practice day. There were three circles available to the 10 entrants. The weather was "stunt heaven". Everyone flew as much as they wanted to.
Saturday was Trials Day. Again the weather was "stunt heaven".
Upon the completion of 3 rounds of flying, the pilots earning places on the 2024 Canadian FAI F2B Team are;
Konstantin Bajaikine
Chris Cox
Bruce Perry
Alternate - Monty Summach
After driving 20 plus hours home I have determined that it is possible to get "jet-lag" in a Nissan Pathfinder!
