Thanksgiving
« on: November 23, 2006, 08:02:56 AM »
Everybody;

 I would like to take just a moment and on behalf of Sophie and myself to wish all of you in the Modeling Comunity a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
 Enjoy good food and watch a lot of football and if the weather is cooperative, get out there and fly a little.

Same from the old DOC Holliday.  Was out yesterday with Willow and Emmy.  Now have Willow flying with Emmy's help/coaching of her sister.  Now maybe my wish may come true in which I will be just fueling and restarting engines for awhile, especially when I get Willow, Emmy, Ian and Aaron out to fly all at once.  Later,  DOC Holliday

I have a grand son who is 4 right now wanting to learn.  Would you beleive he taught himself how to ride a bicycle.  I also can remember when a young fellow was flying when I started that had been flying and winning trophies at 4 years of age.  This was back in the early 50's.  Also remember you can't push them into it.  DOC Holliday

PS:The young fellow was Wayne Meriwether who was Jr. National Champ in 1964 at the Grand Prairie NATS.
