Title: Calendar Entries for 2008; It's Not Too Early

With only a couple of months left in this year, it is a good time to post your upcoming contest information in the Calendar.   Many competitors have told me that they need to plan their vacations or time off some months ahead to coordinate with family, school, and yes, even work.  LL~  Many contests are held on traditional dates every year.  You may not know the full details but you can post what you know, updating the information as it becomes known.

Remember to make your initial post in the Calendar.    mw~ If you do that, the post will show up in both the Calendar and in the Events sections.  If you post initially in the Events Section, your information will not show up in the Calendar.  I will have to delete it,  n1 send you an email or PM and you will have to re-enter it. :(

If you have any difficulty posting an item in the calendar, just drop me a PM or email and I will be happy to assist you.  y1

Okay, Allen B. sent in his W. Kentucky/S. Illinois contest for next August.  Alan G. got the FCM posted for the same month.  The sooner you get them posted, the easier for fliers to plan to attend.

Brodak's 2008 Fly-In is now posted in the June 2008 Calendar.

I'll post Lafayette Esquadrille's Ice-O-Lated Contest in St. Louis, MO in February, 2008 as soon as I can confirm the exact date.

Sent off the sanction for the Memphis Stunt Classic 2008 (MSC 2008) today.  Dates will be 13 and 14 September.  I already checked the NHRA schedule and they will be in Memphis two weeks after the MSC.  So, there will be plenty of rooms available.  Also, will have the Plantation Oaks block off some rooms for the the contest.  Will post flyer and additional info on the calendar ASAP.

I have taken the liberty of posting this information in the Calendar so that fliers can see the dates.  When you are ready to update the Calendar entry with details, I'll simply delete this one.

Allen Brickhaus has posted the tentative schedule of events for the 2008 Nats at Muncie, IN. We'll update the Calendar entry when details become available.  Allen also provided the 2008 Nats Beginner Stunt   dates and the Event description.

I need more Calendar posts.  I'm on a roll. #^
