C-130 Control Line plane?
« on: November 10, 2008, 02:38:50 PM »
Has anyone ever built a C-130 Control Line plane?

I could just see Dan Banjock or Mike putting little JATO's on it for the short field takeoff demo. LL~ LL~ LL~

Pictures anyone?

Yeah, it was done, back in the '60s I believe. And the guy did have little JATO bottles!

You can get plans for a C/L C 130 at Uncle Willies.

Don't let some of the wallpaper fool you, it is a legitimate plans service.

If my memory is correct the C-130 was Bob Carpenter from Lakewood, CA. He also flew speed and was on one or more of the 60's US FAI speed teams.
