April Flite Log II P i c t u r e s from a fun day.
« on: April 20, 2008, 08:00:16 PM »
Well we had great weather today so we took the afternoon and put up a few flites. My dad came out to watch his grandson fly. I wanted Ryan to fly his Bi-Slob but the wind was lite. Kreth and Arlan did put him on a combat plane. He loved it. I'm in trouble now.

Any way here are a few shots from today.

PS- My Twister ran out of fuel as I tried to pull it back over from inverted. Came straight in from top of the circle. Made a big hole in the ground. Should be back up in no time. y1

Love the shot looking down the handle toward the plane! We had fantastic weather for flying in N E Oklahoma on Saturday but the winds howled today so only one flight took place early on. There was a good crowd out on Saturday though and we picked up a new member. A visitor saw our website and dropped by for a look-see. He plans on returning later with a McCoy 35 powered Ringmaster. Another retread put up his first flight in years. Two new planes made their first flights also.

Sorry to say the Twister will make it back. More weight will be added to the pig. It did not take a lot of damage as I build my planes to survive a crash. I know I should build lighter, but wheres the fun in that.

Any way some hot exopxy and more monokote should get it in the air again very soon.

Arlan suggested that I put a streamer on it and use it as a combat plane. Said I should plow thru any of the other planes.
And who said a M-1 tank could not fly? LL~

Sounds like it was a good time.  Any photos of the doinked Twiststang?
No shame in a heavy plane.  Everyone has built a couple.  HB~>
