built up fuselage

i want to try and build a plane with a built up fuselage. but i never have never done this. is there a easy kit to get my feet wet for my first or am i just thinking that it is harder build.

The Brodak Fancy Pants is a great first built up fuselage kit.  Good flyer and an easy build.

The RSM Jamison is a good one also. Was my first that flew.

Fox 35 or LA 25.  I would probably go with the LA since it doesn't take as much fuel, and tank space is at a premium.  I do believe we got a 4 oz. tank in ours, but that is close for the pattern with the Fox 35.  Anything in that range will work.  The LA 25 seems to be a real friendly engine, aqnd would be plenty for the Fancy Pants.
