At Warren Walker's request (he's busy cooking), pics of his Twin Pathfinder and Strega P-51 Red Baron getting some paint...

Wow! That Strega looks so cool.  Nice job on the twin also.

What engine in the RB.

Hey "RB" (Paul, great choice of first name by the way), Warren is going to use a previous version of on of these (see photo) to power the "RB":

What engine in the RB.

As Paul said, I will be using a PA 75 with rear muffler.
The Strega is built from scratch, I started building it about five years ago,
as we all know, life gets in the way sometimes.
It doesn't have any clear on it yet,
still doing the ink work. This is my second RB, the first one I had autographed by
Steve Hinton, he gave me a piece of sheet metal from the real RB, I have it on
 the tip weight box cover.

The twin is a pathfinder, it will have two veco 19's.

Nice. I sent a picture to Windy. He said on one of his videos it was one of his favorite planes. He Said he misses Warren.

RB, that's great to here, I too miss Windy and Karyn, he was a tremendous help
to me when I started flying and building again about 20 years ago.

I subscribed to his building videos, and after buying around 150 or so, and him giving
me another 75 to 100 more, I learned all I know about building from him.
I used to say I had a black and blue forehead from watching his videos, every time
he would show a technique he used in construction, I would slap myself and say THATS HOW YOU DO IT!

I also have Windys original Red Baron, Windy and Bob Z sent me the remains after it exploded on Bob.
I was building my first R B at the time they sent it to me. They addressed it to Red Baron restorations,
very funny, and thoughtful. Its one of my prize possessions.

I wish Windy was still involved, he is truly a master craftsman.

Even though I didn't know him that well, he is one of the greats.  Watched one of the videos Dave Trible had and realized how he got the name Windy.   Warren, your RB is looking great.  Would love to see it in person. H^^

Looking good there. Love a Strega.
Been watching a lot of Windy's tapes at night lately. He sure was a craftsman. I pick up so many tips.
Too bad he left the hobby.
I never have truly heard why but I imagine burn-out?

Hi Shug, my understanding is, Windy has two all consuming things in his life now,
his grandson Miles, and his first love, motorcycles. Watch some of his u tube videos
and you will see his skills are as great as ever.
I just hope one day Miles will say, Grandpa, show me how to fly that thing!
then he will be back.
