Builder for hire
« on: December 12, 2017, 08:21:53 AM »
I have a friend in Lubbock thats been in a wheel chair for over 40 years thats been getting back in modeling. He was great friends of my father,James Mears, Riley Wooten, and all of the Lubbock combat crew. He was a great builder then and still is today at 80+ years old. He built many of the combat planes in my combat museum. He has Ringmasters, Flite streaks, Magicians, and many other brand new planes everywhere. He's out of room. He would gladly build to suit anything for anybody. If you have an old kit with dried out balsa he will duplicate the kit with new wood and give your old kit back. You cant find a better builder. He will build it all, or as far as you want and you can finish. He just loves building. We actually still go out and do some flying too. He's about finished with all the combat planes available for the museum. He's really wanting to continue building. He had rather not cover or paint them, although he can do it. He can build most planes for about $100.00. Sometimes less. He just wants to keep building. He has a fleet of streaks and Ring master now he could sell. they're ready to go. His name is Wayne Welch. He can be contacted at 806 885 2375 or 806 252 3128. He's a bit hard of hearing so be patient with him. He's areal great guy that just loves modeling.
