Buder Park
« on: September 02, 2015, 11:31:25 PM »
We are going to be in the area for the Labor Day weekend and are planning to get out Saturday.  I should finally have the Triumph ready to fly, I'll post some pics later.  After talking with Charlie this was Allen's last PA and mine will be the first to finish and fly.  It's based on Randy's Vectra wing (Randy correct that if I got the wing wrong).  So will any of you local guys be out and about on Saturday?

Not sure what time, going to try and pry the brother in law out as well.  Brian has a new Oriental he's wanting to get in the air.  If I had to hazard a guess i'd say mourning around 9-10 .

Dan,

Hope to see you there.  Maybe we can get Ben through the figure 8's.  He seems to listen more to other people instead of Dad (maybe it's a teenage thing <=)

No, it's a Father-Son thing.  I went through the same thing with my son.  Seems I couldn't keep my mouth shut at times.

I agree with Doc on this one.  Still waiting to get out of being dumber than a rock......Give it another 8 to 10 years.  Good enough for me and my dad, good enough for me and my son....... HB~>

James, Ben, Sparky, Dan  and myself were there and put some flights (except Sparky). Even though the humidity was on the high side and it was hot still a great day at the flying site.

James brought out a beautiful model designed by Allen Brickhaus. Dan gave Ben some pointers on the CL stunt pattern

Dan flew his Dusty model that can be flown in Profile stunt and Profile scale. The on the right side above the wing has the receiver, servo and battery that can be easily removed if flying CL stunt with a venturi

Looks like you guys had a good time at the field.

Dan: As I said to you earlier... NICE looking little crop duster there!  Excellent work!

Searching to find my new place in this hobby!
