Bud Nosen Balsa Source
« on: December 14, 2007, 09:46:39 PM »
With Lone Star being gone many have lost their source for contest wood.  Bud Nosen has the best contest balsa you can find anywhere; however, they do not sell to non-dealers.

Tom Dixon will order Bud Nosen balsa for you and have it dropped shipped to your address.  Use the latest Lone Star price list from Model Aviation and order your balsa using the form in the attached link.  Turnaround time is about a week.  Bud Nosen does require that you have at least a $75.00 order to be eligible for a drop shippment.

Great Stuff. Our L.H.S., Aerotech in North Canton Ohio carries it.With a digital scale (which they provide)and a little sifting, we find a lot of choice pieces. y1

That is great!  The LHS in my area sucks!!!!  I am forced to order 100% of my supplies.  But, with today's gas prices shipping ends up being cheaper than a trip to the nearest good hobby shop.

The Prop Shop in Centerline stocks Bud Nosen balsa, and I buy some when I'm short a particular size of Balsa USA.

The Prop Shop does a thriving internet bidness.

Don't hesitate to log in.  http://www.prop-shop.com/

There's the link.  I guess it could be a somewhat common name.

Forget Google, DOGPILE is the hot search engine.
