Post by: Fred Cronenwett on September 16, 2015, 11:07:06 AM
Our annual 2 day contest will be happening this weekend (Sept 19-20) in the St Louis Area at Buder Park. The park will be busy with our CL contest and an RC event in the same County Park. Our club has unique trophies and it will be great time

Check out the contest info on our club website

For anyone planning to  come into St.Louis for our contest, be advised of some construction on the roads in the vicinity of Buder Park. I'm pretty sure there are lane closures on I-44 west bound just past the I-270 interchange that will affect travel times. State Highway 141 which runs past Buder Park is 4 lanes now and runs from I-55 north to I-70 near St.Charles and the airport. There are traffic lights at the major intersections however, it is not interstate highway. A check with MODOT might be in order. Weather so far is looking reasonable.
  Type at you later,

Bumping up to again give a heads up about possible traffic delays on west bound I-44 just east of the I-270/I-44 intersection at the Meramac River. I think the Soccer Park Road exit is closed for those of you who liked to jump off at the Road Ranger truck stop for gas or food. It made the head line on the evening news tonight!
Travel safe and see you at the field in the morning!
