Lots of sun and some funky wind to keep things interesting.

Awsome, wish I was there! That P-63 photo is classic, you can almost see the castor oozing out of the balsa! :##
Great stuff Elwyn!

Does anybody know what the airplane in the first picture is?
-
Looks like a Starlight stunter by Charles Mackay?
Cheers Neville

It looks like a plane that was listed to Windy. I don't remember the day but it was listed as a "Big Job" H^^
-
Sure looks like a Starlight to me - the thin airfoil and eliptical wing gives it away
-
How about some pictures of the score board? I would love to know who is kickin butt up there. ;D
-
well it's a pretty airplane and I love elliptical wings. thanks rog
-
The first plane is a Starlight. Windy's Big Job is inverted in the last photo.
-
here is the plan for it.....
-
I have the spars laid out for a Starlight but, I see Scott beat me to it. Still great pictures Elwyn. H^^
-
Thanks Wynn for the copy of the plan. Elwyn the pictres are great as usual. rog

I think you would have to shorten the nose a bit on the Starlight if you use a silencer, to save that lead added to the tailwheel! ;D

-
I built a Starlight in 1998 - great flyer but way too light.
It's take-apart.

Very nice ;D Did you have to add lead to the tail?
