Hot today and lots of clouds which can create some backlighting problems with photography. There was supposed to be a good chance of rain but it stayed away. Looks like it will storm tonight though. Today was the first round of regular Stunt and the Junk Yard Wars Flying took place around 7:00 pm.

So what happened to the wingtip? Did someone wind up with a head ache or a tool box not where it is supposed to be. Elwyn you are the greatest with photos. DOC Holliday

Glad you liked the photos. The safety tape support pole was a bit closer to the circle center than expected. No problem if you stayed on the center pad, but if you look at the first shot you'll see the pilot standing several feet to one side for take-off. They moved the pole several feet after the incident. I didn't get the name of the gentleman flying the Mustang.

Nice inverted shot of Bob Whitely's Hunter. Good to see that old .60 technology and a Classic 60's airframe can still put the hurt on 'em.
