Great review with tons of pictures and tips for improvement, although the plane is pretty close to being perfect out of the box.
Randy and John must be very proud of this airplane. The ARF's keep getting better and better. y1

This is good news. I havent got my FM yet and this is one of my have to have airplanes.

I guess I'll have to check my newsagent to see if they have the FM magazine because I've just started flying (6 flights so far) my ARC SV-11. I made a few changes but basically only to the control system to suit my preferences and a warp in the rudder for some offset. It needs some trimming still (tip weight and lead out position) but flies very nicely so far. I'm using an Enya 61 RE with Randy's header and tube muffler driving a Bolly 13x5 CF prop which pulls it around very well.

The nature of the post is such that you can't comment unless you kinda have one. Unlike the "Stooge Instrument of the Devil" post. We ALL use stooges,(no 3 Stooges jokes lol).

Brian H, good luck. I haven't seen Flying Models around Sydney in more than a year and was told that it is no longer being brought into Australia.

Very nice ARC kit , Light strong, well designed, I have a Tom Lay ST 60 in mine , Only changes were the leadouts, Add fuel tank floor, to let tank slide in from front , V deflector type construction for strength, and rudder change to suite my likes, stock canopy, just painted different , Glassed the nose past wing highpoint for strength , Brodak dope , Lucite Auto Clear
Building another , same David Pearson scheme

I know the "crew" that did the work on the SV and the Legacy.....lots of revisions and tweeks from the prototype....I wager that they are the most extensively tested redesigned of the ARFs to date....

Thank you for all the kind words about the SV-11 article.
