Brodak Spitfire Wing jig
« on: April 03, 2010, 03:54:23 PM »
Looking for information on The Brodak Spitfire kit. I understand that the ribs come lazer cut to fit Brodak wing jig. I have 2 questions, What size are the holes for the jig tubes?  Is the Brodak Spitfire wing built in two half's and then glued together or is the wing built in one piece?
Thanks,
Tom

Tom, the jig rods are 5/16" and the wing is built in two sections then joined.

Hi Tom,
I built the Brodak Spitfire and am more than please with the results. Great kit. I do have some extra tips that I can send you that may help in a few areas. Drop me a PM if you want them. As told above, the wing is built in half's and then joined to make the dihedral. Not difficult, but does need some attention.
You will really enjoy this plane.
