Has anyone built this model? or have seen one fly. Thanks

Billy,
I've built two of the Shark 402's and they are great fliers for a small plane.

I started one. Built the wing except for wingtips. Then noticed the leadout wires were too short.... check that before you put center sheeting.
I was gona use a .25LA

I built one with an OS FP 25. Flew great!
Only thing (for me) was that the ribs are extremely delicate. I think I broke every one before I finally got it covered. I used the SLC over polyspan and it wasn't that easy, but the results were great!
Good luck, Jerry

Like mine! LA .25 stock muffler on .012x58 lines. Brodak .25 another good choice. TS

Contact Pat Johnston he has two larger Sharks, a 560 and 610 sq in. Perfect for the .40 and .46 engines.
-
Billy,
Both of them are electric, using Cobra 2814/16 motors and 4s 1800mAh batteries (for the beginner's pattern). I think 2200mAh batteries would be enough for the advanced pattern.

We know Pat Johnston pretty well here in the NW. It'll fly as well as you can ask for. If you build it straight and adjust it correctly, you'll be a happy camper. The .25LA is perfect. Avoid the Fox .35 Stunt vibrations if you can! H^^ Steve
